Is it worth getting rid of the egr stuff? I take it you have or are going to dump the aircon? I haven't but might. Especially if thats the pulley thats making my serpentine belt squeek!!

Most new heads are dear, some others are re-con, or you send them your old ones. But yes Edelbrock are dear! Like I say a kit of compatible parts does appeal though! It includes a new intake manifold and the option of a 52 mm throttle body.

I'm not too upset by the dropping into gear issue, although it does make a three point turn look a little jerky! My missus has a smaller neck than me though so she suffers!

As for the exhaust, thats the kind of setup I had in mind for mine :-)

Thanks for the links

im only removing EGR because the LS6 intake manifold is a larger plenum size and doesnt suppost egr, but i have to tune it out of ecu. To be honest it doesnt do to much really, maybe saves a little fuel equivalent to a mile in every tank full hahah

dont know if im taking air con off, it connect to my de-misters so might be a bad move, im gonna test without the belt (i have separate air con one) and see how it goes

Your car would sound super deep with no mufflers, the LTs are known for the beastly sound deep down burble :D

who needs 3 point turns, just power over and full lock on the wheel will flick it round

Exhaust note is deep! Especially with overdrive, drops about two octaves lol. Maybe no back box would be a little too much....but cheaper

As for spinning it round, well I had thought that when I wrote it! Doesn't look too good in the staff car park though lol
