i'd love to do a meet but i'm a good 4-5 hours drive at best from the essex area :( Best bet would be a santa pod meet at one of the American days

oh, btw i wanted to ask you about your manual conversion, what did you need to replace, im thinking a T56 (from a GTO), flywheel, pedals, clutch slave and master cylinders and ??? Also did you have to change much of the wiring for the only tune engine on if brake/clutch is pressed?? I have read the read up on chevy high performance, and it seems relatively straight forward

Best ET: 12.97 @ 106.7 mph

If you are planning on doing manual swap, I suggest to get new clutch kit (LS7) , new slave and master cylinder from either 01-02 model and do a drill mod. Make sure when you get the M6 pedals, they come with everything, nuts, clutch switch sensor(to start the car while depressing the clutch also for your cruise control to work), connector and the thread U bolt piece. Don't forget to buy the, M6 console, shifter/stick, M6 tranny mount and the rubber

For the tune, I completely replace everything in my PCM from thinking its auto to manual. Since I already have LS6 intake manifold/28.8lb injectors, installing stock 02 manual tune was the best route for me.

There are just a few re wiring for the swap, VATs, reverse solenoid, clutch switch sensor, and power locks.

I could have easily do it but with pressing limited time I have, no space to do it and proper tools, I opted to pay someone to do the dirty work. I did bought everything needed though.

For this, I got $2K but the used stock clutch was shot. I didn't trust the master cylinder or the slave cylinder so went to the trash and I also junked the stock shifter. Tranny itself had only 50K miles.

thanks dude

i got some prices on things, and managed to source a full uprated clutch kit in america, and the dude will throw me in a camaro shifter cup so i can change the GTO shifter location. I get a slave and master too. Pedals may be a struggle, im gonna look on ebay. I'd just cut the auto centre console out as a manual one is gonna be hard to find, unless ebay has one too? Its all in the list of ideas, dont know whether to go stalled auto and see how long it lasts or get a manual in now. I have a ls6 intake waiting to got on, no injectors though but might be buying uprated ones. Ill be getting EFIlive next month so once i learn how that works i should be ok :)

If you can get the upper piece of the console, it's cheaper and better to find. I'm not 100% correct on this but you could probably use the LT1 M6 console.
